The recent leaks, if you start thinking about it, should make us all at least just a bit paranoid.

Did Trump manage to save Twitter?
In my eyes, Trump has given a huge boost to Twitter, especially considering that these days everyone are talking about Twitter every day. Everyone are even posting screenshots, or actual twitter messages inside their articles, and news stories. But has the free publicity actually helped twitter to come out of the hole they were in?

Batteries just got three times better

The recent leaks, if you start thinking about it, should make us all at least just a bit paranoid. And it's not the leaks you should be worried about but rather what the leaks revealed. But what can you do to at least try to keep your information, and your activities, at least somewhat confidential?

Stay strong with your email

We've all seen phishing emails of different sorts, from friends, family, companies you have an account with, or total strangers, which ask you to click on random links in the emails or open an attached document. However, both of these things can be used by hackers and CIA alike to get access to your documents, to your accounts, to your activities. So you need to be careful about which links you click and which documents you open. As our parents, even though they might be the easiest targets these days, told us already years ago - think before you act.

Weird passwords and multi-level authentication

The weirder, the harder the password is to remember for you, the more difficult it is to guess, or crack, by others as well. There's a huge difference between 'mypassword' and 'GH7&6{X09*H0'. While the latter is extremely difficult to remember, it might be worth it. Another thing you need consider is turning on the two-step authentication, which has been made available by a number of online platforms already. Both of these things will keep you safer in the cyber world.

Encrypted messaging software

When choosing which software to use for messaging, choose the ones which have strong encryption. One such app is Whatsapp.

Webcam cover

Even the former president of Estonia, who is also on the Council of CyberSecurity's Advisory Board, said that even he has covered his laptop webcam with a tape for when he's not using it. Just to be on the safe side. Same goes for phone cameras. Whenever possible, cover it when not in usage.

The best suggestion ever

In the world of technology, go out in the sun, switch off your phone, and talk to people live. It's not only good idea when it comes to cyber security, but it's good for life!
