That Gmail new look that you hate

Gmail recently change its look, and while it's not so different from the old one, most people, including me, seem to hate it. However, if you haven't noticed it yet, there are some good news for you - you can switch back to the old classic Gmail look by pressing the Settings icon in the right-hand corner and under that you should see "Go back to classic Gmail".

I hated the new look, my aunt hates and, and it looks like we're not the only ones. Comments like "the new gmail is hideous!" are not uncommon. Here are just a few more from twitter - "I HATE the new look of #Gmail", "WTF is this new gmail?!?", "new gmail rollout really ruining my evening", "Gmail has a new look, a very horrible look.", "This new gmail layout hurts my eyes and is beginning to anger me."

So people aren't really fans. Although I mentioned that you can switch back to classic Gmail look, it might happen that in October everyone will be switched over to the new Gmail by default. Once that happens, I personally might opt to use some third party software like Thunderbird and connect my Gmail to that. We'll see.
