Technology in our classrooms: Vote for the Best Teacher in America to get some
If you happen to be a student, a parent of a child still in school, or a faculty member, and you are reading this, it's time to vote for your favorite teacher in your school.
Why should you do this?
Worth Ave. Group announced the official launch of "Technology in Education" grant giveaway program which offers the winning school as well as individuals and of course the "Best Teacher in America" the total of around $150,000 in money and prizes.
The school winning the first prize will get a $25,000 technology grant, the Best Teacher in America will get an iPad 2 as well as 30 iPod Touches for their classroom.
Additionally, five runner up schools will get $1000 grants as well as an iPad 2. Plus, five random voters will also get an iPad 2. Not to mention the Ave. Group's WorthTrack® laptop tracking software valued $29.95, that will be given for free to the first 5000 voters.

When can you do it?
The nominations began already in the beginning of December, 2011, but will will last until the end of March 31, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. CDT. You should vote every day to increase the chances for your school and your BEST teacher.
